Our Services
We provide two core service options, see these below.
Individual Rider Support
Our 1:1 S&C coaching service, wherever you are based, with the same level of service as our World Tour and Olympic riders. We support you (and your coach) to integrate performance enhancing strength training into your whole season, to deliver your best performance on the bike.
We’ll meet to discuss your physical profile and performance goals.
Individualised planning into your training and racing calendar.
A S&C programme specific to you as a rider, your strengths and development needs.
From our S&C programmes, expect to improve maximum minute power, peak power and general robustness on and off the bike, all whilst training and developing on the bike.
In-person and Remote coaching support, technique, load and velocity tracking.
Regular review and planning meetings.
Ongoing training analysis to evaluate the impact of strength training to your on-bike performance.

Road & Track 12 month S&C Plan
Develop specific strength qualities with training methods that will phase through the year as your season does.
You will be guided with appropriate progression that is planned in a systematic and complimentary way, to maximise your performance in race season.
Increase your Max Aerobic Power which you will be able to use for medium to shorter climbs or TT’s.
Increase Peak Power, this will come through in a short maximal effort at the backend of the race, whether it’s for the top of a climb or a flat finish.
Periodised 12 month S&C programme specific to the road race calendar.
Work through phases designed for stability, lower body lean-mass and force development.
These qualities result in a more robust and powerful rider in-season.
Depending on the training phase, most weeks will have 1-2 strength sessions, 1-2 mobility and conditioning sessions.
TrainingPeaks Premium account included. Have the flexibility to move the weekly sessions around your training and race schedule.

Cross, Gravel & MTB 12 Month S&C Plan
This progamme offers specificity to off-road events including Cyclo-cross, MTB XC and Gravel.
Although the lengths and intensities are varied across these disciplines, all hold a similarity in the critical-torque and explosive power requirement, as well as the overall physicality of off-road riding.
You will be guided with appropriate exercises and progressions that are planned in a systematic and complimentary way, to maximise your performance in race season.
Increase your Max Aerobic Power and cycling economy so that you are using less energy to produce the required power over hard terrain.
Increased torque development, so that you are able to accelerate well out of technical sections and turns.
Periodised 12 month S&C programme specific to the MTB and Gravel race seasons.
Work through phases designed for mobility & stability, lower body lean-mass and whole-body force development.
Depending on the phase, most weeks will have 1-2 strength sessions, 1-2 mobility and conditioning sessions.
TrainingPeaks Premium account included. Have the flexibility to move the weekly sessions around your training and race schedule.

What’s included in the programmes?
-
The programmes are a subscription service. They offer a performance focussed S&C programme, that aligns with the typical training phases throughout the season. Your subscription includes full access to TrainingPeaks Premium where you can track your progress.
You will need access to a fully equipped gym (barbells, dumbells, racks and ideally a 45 degree leg press) and some basic kit for travelling (bands, roller/ball). The subscription can be cancelled anytime.
-
First approach to our S&C plans; we want to set a foundation and ensure that all riders who join have a minimum level of strength, mobility, and stability. There will be some basic monitoring tests that will allow you to establish your progress in the future blocks. This is generally an 4 week block and best approached around the time of your off-season.
-
From week 6 onwards every 4-5 weeks the programme will adjust the training stimulus combining different elements to target the key physical qualities, underpinning your performance. The main driver here will be to develop your strength level across the specific motor patterns in your cycling discipline.
Each block will include a de-load week, where the programme reduces training load to recover and allow adaptation. This will be the longest preparation phase, 3-4 x 4-week blocks, best started as your base training for the next season does.
-
The goal in this phase is to allow you to deliver your best physical performance on race day. We do this by getting you to the end of the race season with two outcomes;
Firstly, maintaining the new level of strength you attained in the preparation phases. Also to maintain the new function your body has gained through all your hard work, this is great for staying adaptable on the bike and reduce risk of injury.
Secondly, allowing you to taper for key races and events in your calendar. This part of the season runs from the beginning of the race season onwards.
